Scholarship ACTFL Spanish Teachers

The scholarship winner will be able to participate in one of our College Board® APSI Spanish (Language or Literature) in Seville or Madrid or our  cours de formation pour professeurs d'espagnol à l'université de Cadix.

Our Spanish teacher courses are designed to develop and consolidate teacher skills in a Spanish speaking environment. You will discover new tools and resources for teaching Spanish to bring your classes to life!

Classes are complemented by a program of cultural visits and activities.

The program includes:

• 50 hours of classes + 10 hours of self-study and tutoring combined (30 hours for APSI Spanish)
• Cultural activities
• 24 hour support
• Tout le matériel de classes
• University/College Board certificate
• Airport transfer from/to Jerez de la Frontera/Seville if you travel with a group of students

• The scholarship is available to American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages actual high school / college / university Spanish teachers, with preference given to high school teachers.
• Teachers applying for the scholarship must show interest in travelling with their students to Spain, or in encouraging the participation of their students in study abroad programs in Spain.
• At the end of the stay, the winning teacher will have to submit a blog post to Centro MundoLengua about the overall experience in Spain.

The scholarship winner will be able to choose between one of the 5 following sessions:

• June 22 – 26, 2026. AP® Spanish Language and Culture Workshop in Seville
• June 29 – July 3, 2026. AP® Spanish Language and Culture Workshop in Seville
• July 13 – July 17, 2026. AP® Spanish Language and Culture Workshop in Madrid
• June 22 – July 3, 2026 (Basic Level). Program for Spanish teachers without previous experience or prior training, or those who wish to teach students at a novice level (Cadiz)
• July 6 – July 17, 2026 (Advanced Level). Program for Spanish teachers with experience or prior training, or those who wish to teach students at an advanced level (Cadiz)
• July 20-31, 2026 (Superior Level). Program for Spanish teachers with experience or prior training. This intensive course is comparable in content to those taught in other long-duration courses or master’s programs.

Centro MundoLengua must receive your application without exception before the scholarship deadline on February 15th, 2026.

The winner of the scholarship will be communicated on March 1st, 2026.
